Hi .
In the middle of a prayer meeting, three extremists burst into Pastor Kajo’s church in Sudan and launched a violent attack.
They assaulted Pastor Kajo and two church members, ripped up Bibles and broke chairs.
But perhaps most shocking of all is that, instead of receiving justice, Pastor Kajo was convicted of ‘disturbing the peace’ alongside his attacker.
This faithful church leader was sentenced to a month in prison for a crime in which he was the victim.
It’s because of Pastor Kajo, and others like him, that I want to ask:
Could you give £4 this Christmas to help people targeted because of their beliefs?
Your gift will go twice as far, too, because generous supporters will match your donation pound for pound up to £24,000.
Through your gift:
  • You’ll enable us to research and document abuses, so that decision-makers can’t ignore what’s happening.
  • You’ll train, equip and empower people all around the world to become advocates for justice.
  • You’ll help us challenge people of influence to make lasting change for vulnerable religious communities who are at risk because of their religion or belief.
At Christmas, we remember that Jesus came to walk among us… He came to the marginalised, the overlooked, the people pushed to the edge of society.
The Word became flesh and blood and moved into the neighbourhood. (John 1:14 MSG)
Thank you so much. May the God of peace and joy surround you and your loved ones, this Christmas and beyond.
Grace and peace,
