You can blame whomsoever you like for this catastrophe but the simple truth is that our insane policies by recent governments regarding Net Zero are entirely to blame.
Any government which fails to use its own handsome, natural resources to provide us all with cheap energy - preferring to buy it in at considerable expense - is unfit to run a whelk stall.
Any government not: fracking; digging coal and draining the N.Sea of its abundant oil is clearly unfit for purpose.
Our negative effects on the planet as a nation are so trivial as to be inconsequential when compared to the wrong doings of China and India.
