Thank you for your on-going concern for persecuted Christians around the world and your support of Release International’s ministry.
I am emailing you because at some point you have signed up to receive vital news and information from Release International.
Over the years, as technology has developed, the ways in which people have signed up to receive that information has changed. This is particularly true in the case of emails. Depending on when and how you first connected with Release International, you may have signed up for certain types of email.
In recent years the way we have been sending emails has proved increasingly expensive. In order to be good stewards of what we have been given; we are in the process of adjusting how our emailing system works.
Going forward we will be producing a new style of emails under several different categories: for example, emails calling people to pray; news emails, and so on.
We believe all the emails we send are valuable, but we want to make it easy for all our supporters to decide how or what they hear from us.
When the new system comes into effect next week, you will see that at the bottom of the email you can click on something called Preferences, which enables you to determine which types of email you receive. If you’re happy to receive every type of email, we send out relating to the persecution of Christians around the world you need do nothing.
You can also Unsubscribe—which would mean you wouldn’t receive any emails from us. Obviously, we hope you would want to continue receiving at least some of our emails and so wouldn’t choose this option!
A few of you may have been receiving occasional emails from our regional speakers, because you signed up to do so at some point in the past. These will be part of what we are now calling our ‘Resources’ emails. When you look at the Preferences, perhaps you might consider receiving other information from us related to our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.
