A group of Egyptian Coptic Christians has gone missing in Libya, sparking fears for their safety and even of a possible repeat of the 2015 massacre of Coptic Christians by ISIS.

According to International Christian Concern (ICC), the Egyptians have been missing since September 30 but it is uncertain as to who is holding them and why, and suspicions abound that they were deliberately targeted.

Some fear that they have been taken by an armed group.

It’s hard not to mock Prince Charles for converting his antique Aston Martin to run on the byproducts of surplus English wine and whey from cheese. And we’re not going to make the effort. Not because there isn’t a certain logic to his long-standing interest in organic farming and reducing waste, or because there must be some use for English wine, or because aristocratic snobbery is an easy target. Rather because it illustrates the absurd gap between climate alarmists’ diagnosis and their remedy. If the planet is in imminent danger of bursting into flames, running vintage cars on vintage food cannot possibly be a solution on a sufficient scale to put out the fire.

Dear Friends. I just wanted to update you on an important development. The Severe Fetal Impairment Abortion (Amendment) Bill has passed Committee Stage at the Northern Ireland Assembly. An amazing 99.55% of the 9,125 submissions to the Northern Ireland Committee for Health consultation on the Bill supported the proposed law change. This is another significant milestone in the journey towards ending abortion up to birth for disabilities such as Down’s syndrome, cleft lip and club foot in Northern Ireland. Thank you to everyone who made a submission to the consultation on the Bill when I made contact earlier in the year asking people to make a submission. The incredible response to the consultation has sent a very clear message that people with disabilities are equally human and the people of Northern Ireland want the British Government’s disability abortion provision, which directly discriminates against people with disabilities, removed as soon as possible.  We are not there yet though. The Bill will now proceed onto Consideration Stage and then has more hurdles to pass before becoming law. I will be keeping you updated as the Bill progresses and will let you know when you can take further action along the way to help. Archbishop 'gravely concerned' by LGBT proposals in Ghana.

The Archbishop of Canterbury has distanced himself from Anglican bishops in Ghana who have come out in support of a Bill that would make it a crime to be gay, bisexual or transgender.

The Bill would also criminalise campaigning for LGBTQ+ rights and declaring oneself to be an ally. Those falling foul face up to 10 years in prison. 

Gay sex is already punishable in Ghana by up to three years in prison. 

The Anglican Church in Ghana, headed by Archbishop Cyril Kobina Ben-Smith, has publicly backed the Bill.

In a statement of support, Anglican bishops in Ghana called homosexual practice "unbiblical and ungodly". 

"We see LGBT+ as unrighteousness in the sight of God and therefore will do anything within our powers and mandate to ensure that the bill comes into fruition ... Leviticus 20:13 clearly declares that a male lying with a fellow male is an abomination and punishable by death," the statement reads.

It adds: "The church does not condemn persons of homosexuality tendencies but absolutely condemn the sinful acts and activities they perform."

In a statement on Tuesday, the Archbishop of Canterbury said he was "gravely concerned" by support for the Bill among his Ghanaian colleagues and that he planned to be in touch with the Archbishop of Ghana to raise his concerns directly.
