Lepra.

Dear All ,
As the nights draw in, an unseasonably warm autumn has lured us into a false sense of security, that Christmas is still a distant consideration.

Christmas means many things to many people. For some, it is a time to celebrate, a time to remember and reflect and, of course a time where many people like to shower their loved ones with gifts (providing they are not on the “naughty” list).  As we move into November however, Lepra will be focusing on the perfect antidote to the chaos and consumerism of the month of December; 'Giving Tuesday'.

Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.  It is a day where everyone, everywhere can do something to support the good causes that mean so much to them. It is a global event and is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the well-known shopping days of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

For Giving Tuesday 2021Lepra is shining a light on our footwear technicians, the need for specialist podiatric care and the vital importance of customised footwear for people affected by leprosy. So this year we’ve decided to turn Giving Tuesday into Giving Shoesday!

Join us in helping some of the most vulnerable people in the world, lead a life of dignity and independence, free from disability.
