At the 28.7p per litre that the big oil companies charge us for our petrol, we must admit that the cost is most reasonable.(For sake of balance, I needs must point out though, that the government does add just a little bit in taxation to round the price up nicely to £1-20. I particularly admire the bit where they charge us VAT on bits already taxed.)
