Sam Curran.

With the Third Test beginning today at Trent Bridge, I am mortified to see that Ben Stokes - back from his infamous court case - has just blithely walked back into the team at the expense of young Sam Curran.
With Sam as England's only left arm option in their attack, I find this decision bizarre, especially in the light of his splendid performances with both bat and ball.
Even though Stokes was found not guilty by jury, surely his general demeanour on the night in question might have been interpreted by many as 'bringing cricket into disrepute'.
It is not for me to comment as to whether or not 'justice was done and manifestly seen to be done' in the case itself but what I do know is that the selectors have not served justice by ousting Sam from the test side in order to accommodate Stokes.

If Only I Could Disagree.
