God Will NOT Bless Or Ignore SIN.

There is a level of misunderstanding which true Christians are having to deal with from the well-meaning and the spiritually foolish with regard to so-called 'gay marriage'.
Here is a piece of silliness from the Letters Page of The Yorkshire Post:
MAY I suggest a possible solution to the contentious issue of gay marriage? It is based on what I feel are two reasonable assumptions.
My first is that gay couples who want to marry would wish to have their union blessed at the highest possible level – that is by God himself. My second is that an all-inclusive God would want to bless their union. Let us work on both assumptions being correct. Why not have a ceremony called “A God’s Blessing”? Oh dear! 'Reasonable'???

Why are you commenting in public on an issue of which you demonstrate a complete absence of all understanding?
GOD DOES NOT TOLERATE WHAT HE HAS DECLARED TO BE SINFUL. HE PUNISHES IT!
He does not act like a weak and indulgent parent.
He will not 'bless your shoplifting' because you have determined that it is 'a good thing'.
The ONLY way that God will bless is GOD's WAY! He is omnipotent - like it or lump it - He alone makes the rules!
REPENTANCE is the only way out of this downward spiral and acceptance that God The Son died on the cross to pay for these very same sins which YOU choose to dilute!

The problem which we are seeing here arises when a wishy-washy, indulgent image of God is projected - and tragically, this is an attitude which can easily be found in 'liberal' churches!
