As profits tumble at major supermarkets - Sainsburys and Tesco the latest in the news - Morrisons announce a price war with the budget supermarkets.
Ooh. Let joy be unconfined - a price war! Thanks, Mr ALDI. Ta muchly, Mr LIDL. This is truly wonderful news for the consumer. The only downside is that this may possibly squeeze the small retailers even further but I suspect that they may have already lost the customers they were going to lose. The other potential downside is the way supermarkets squeeze their suppliers. I suspect too that if this were still possible, it would have already taken place.
It does appear that it may just be giant supermarket profits which will bear the brunt. I do hope so.
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
