The man who saw euro crisis coming: Mail's ex-City editor Andrew Alexander dies at 80.

Andrew Alexander, the Mail's former City editor, died on Sunday aged 80 after 42 years spent at the paper where he was known as a Euro-sceptic 'long before the phrase was coined'.There were many things where, had we met, we would have undoubtedly squabbled but this man was a giant amongst a newspaper world populated with midgets.
