Sudan.

Two men in Sudan are in a maximum security prison. They didn’t do anything wrong.
You may have seen the news that Petr Jašek, one of three men unjustly convicted of a number of crimes including spying, last month in Sudan, has been pardoned and released. The men were arrested, convicted and given lengthy prison sentences all because they raised money for a young man who was badly injured in a student protest. This act of kindness cost them their freedom. And despite Mr Jašek’s pardon, two men are still in prison.
Mr Jašek’s release was celebrated around the world this week, but we can’t ignore the plight of Rev Hassan and Mr Abdumawla, who were convicted for being accessories to his ‘crimes’.
Don't let the unjust sentences for Rev Hassan and Mr Abdumawla stand.
We must keep up the pressure on Sudan and let them know that despite Mr Jašek’s release, we haven’t forgotten about Rev Hassan and Mr Abdumawla, and we won’t rest until they’re free too. Send a tweet to ask senior EU representatives to press for the release of these two innocent men.
Let's step up and make our voices heard. Click here to take action now.
Blessings,

P.S. Once you’ve taken action, forward this email to your friends to encourage them to raise their voice too! The more of us who speak out, the more likely it is that these two innocent men will be freed.
