'Bail bandits' are the people who break their bail: a
dual oath to behave and to return to court at the given
time.
It is a moral imperative that those who misuse
their
bail should be severely punished. Not only for the breach of that promise but
because anything else brings the Law into disrepute and makes it appear
weak when this is not done.
In the UK today, far too little is done by courts which have been
ignored by 'bail bandits'.
