A church leader is training young people in areas affected by gangs to transfer the skills they learn on the
streets to the office boardroom.
Assistant pastor Joseph Mullings is using contacts in the Square
Mile to train young people in how to set up and run a business with one mentor
advising them: “If you can sell drugs you can sell
anything.”
The pastor who runs a pentecostal church in Harlesden also works
for a multi-national company based in South Quay near Canary Wharf and uses
friends and colleagues to give workshops on running a business.
