Huff Post On Alt-Right.

As the far-right flotsam behind the Charlottesville protest continues to be exposed and the flaccidity of Donald Trump’s response ridiculed, a “mysterious” power-base behind America’s alt-right movement has emerged, and it’s right here in the UK.
Britain, according to anti-extremism charity Hope not Hate (HnH), is a key ally in the movement that has grown a furious following in the aftermath of repeated terror attacks and thanks to the poisonous regurgitation of falsehoods published by websites like the Daily Stormer who - due to the vileness of one Virginia weekend - now finds itself offline as no one wants to host it.
The hate-filled, online monstrosity which is called the Huffington Post mounts its attack on the hard right. (See above - note the language used.)
I have no problem whatsoever with the pitch of this piece. Those people are evil but:
1) The Huff Post will never attack the left in a similar manner as they are incapable of being evenhanded in any way. The vast majority of political terror, over many decades, has come from the left.
2) The Huff Post fails to recognise that it is its very own brand of leftism which foments this appalling behaviour. Most hard right groups emerge because of the leftist stranglehold on society. Not all of those who will attempt to fight back are democratic, Christian, humanity-loving moderates such as me.
3) I have seen anti-fascist groups marching in the streets of Sheffield and have been asked either to join them or to sign petitions. My response is always: "Yes. I oppose fascism. I take it that your group is also anti-communist - because if so, hand me that pen and paper." - They never do!
