Let Me Get This Right.

It was agreed by pretty much all concerned that there would be a single referendum, whose result would be respected - and there would be no Irish-style shenanigans where the government kept on having more referenda 'til they got the result they wanted.

In spite of the huge advantages to the remoaner side in terms of money and media bias - LEAVE WON CLEARLY in a binding referendum.

The government was required to remove the UK from the EU. It really was that simple.

The losers had stated that the vote was to be respected.

Suddenly, we hear of something called 'a soft Brexit' which would NOT remove the UK from the EU.
NOW, we have demands 'to remain in the customs union'. This would mean that all the economic advantages of Brexit, where world trade is concerned, would be jettisoned.

I despair!
