Morrisons v Asda.

efe

Morrisons has announced significant price cuts across hundreds of products in its UK stores and online in a move to help customers manage their household budgets. The supermarket confirmed it is cutting the cost of more than 650 items, with reductions averaging 18%.

Prices are being lowered on a range of everyday essentials, including chicken breast fillets, laundry pods, vegetables, olive oil, rice, pasta, toilet rolls and even enchilada kits. The reductions will remain in place for at least four to eight weeks. The changes come as Morrisons moves to support shoppers ahead of increased spending during the lead-up to Christmas. Express.

Blogger: I keep a very keen eye on the prices in local supermarkets. We rarely use Morrisons because, quite simply, it is a noticeably more expensive than the local Asda on the vast majority of goods which form our shopping bills.
Verdict on Morrisons' actions? - Long overdue!
