I have just been informed by our local colleagues that Matias is no longer part of the Compassion programme.
As I’m sure you’ll understand, life can be unpredictable and sometimes children leave the Compassion programme earlier than expected.
In Matias’s case, he and his family have moved to a new area where there is no Compassion project, so sadly they will no longer be able to participate in the programme.
While we’re sad to say goodbye, we pray this move brings new opportunities and fresh hope for Matias and his family.
Any time spent in a Compassion programme will have been incredibly beneficial and we trust that God will continue to guide Matias in their next season.
Your generosity has given Matias the opportunity to grow, learn and thrive with access to formal education, regular health care, nourishing meals and vital life skills.
I’ve heard that Matias hopes to continue studying.
Most importantly, he has been part of a loving local church where they’ve learnt about the lasting hope of Jesus.
