Pray For Nigeria - And Jos In Particular.

Release International. Pray for end of bloodshed in Nigeria.

In 2011 more than 500 Christians were killed in extreme violence in central and northern Nigeria. The attacks by Islamist militants have continued in 2012, the most recent being a suicide bomb attack on a church in Jos, Plateau state, at the weekend in which two women and a child were killed. There seems to be no end in sight to the violence. As Nigerian Christians reel from this latest atrocity, we are calling on all our supporters to join our one-month prayer campaign on behalf of Nigeria's vulnerable Christian communities. The aim is to focus prayer support throughout March using the latest Prayer Shield, which can be found in the March/April issue of Release magazine.
