Judge Smith.

Apparently a judge released a 16 year old child molester to offend again within days.
It is believed that the 'forgiving' of the youth by the first child's Christian parents was a factor.
If ever proof were needed that justice must be blind - then this was surely it!
That Christians forgive is right and proper BUT that is no reason whatsoever for any change in allocating earthly punishment to an offender by a neutral representative of society.
[Are we to believe that the youth would have been imprisoned if the parents had been resentful? - This is NOT evenhanded justice. It will result in totally different outcomes for identical offences. Absurd!]
Even on a spiritual level the 'forgiveness' here is more about the parents and their faith than it has to do with the young scrote himself who needed to repent - and hadn't!

There Is Certainly No Such 'Forgiveness Requirement' For A Court Judge.
