There is currently a poll running on The Yorkshire Post website asking the simple question, "Should more burglars be jailed?"
I am of course, fully aware that such self-selecting polls are not always the most reliable for a wide variety of reasons but it is rare when you do not at least, gain a general impression of attitudes.
As of today, 95% of voters have answered 'yes'.
It struck me that if only 5% (or so) are voting 'pro-burglar' then this is probably pretty close to the reality.
So what is the 'reality'? - It is that the views of the majority have to be pushed aside to allow the sensibilities of the limp, liberal left to hold sway.
Oh for democracy! There is only one political party which is offering that.
