Drugs In Durham Jail.

Apparently, Durham Jail is awash with drugs. May I suggest that I be allowed into that establishment with governmental backing and a relatively free hand.
I will solve the problems in a fortnight.
I would of course, need court backup for hefty sentencing of all those involved in getting drugs into prison.
In the meantime as I am awaiting 'the call to arms', legislation needs to be passed rapidly with the following mandatory sentences put in place:
a) Drug smuggling by solicitor, prison officer or official prison visitors - a minimum 15 year penalty. Breach of trust exacerbates this crime to a very high level indeed.
b) For drug smuggling by relatives - a minimum tariff of seven years.

I have visited three prisons and could prevent this nonsense by changes of system.
(Prison Officers will often ignore drugtaking to have an easier life little realising that it will make their job much harder in the longer term.)
Weekly drugs tests at random times will be needed in the short term with 50% added to sentences for failure.
Physical contact at visiting times must end. A fine mesh must separate prisoner and visitor.
NOW TELL ME that the problem would not effectively disappear!
