Rapist Sentencing.

Against the backcloth of the jailing of Sheffield United striker Ched Evans for five years for 'taking advantage of a girl who was allegedly too drunk to consent to sex', we had some other rape sentences handed out yesterday.

A muslim gang of five kidnapped two young teens - one under the age of consent and raped them over a weekend and forced alcohol down them in what was a terrifying experience which will scar them for life.

I have no particular problem with the Ched Evans sentence. I am horrified however that this wicked gang, who were apparently 'celebrating Eid', saw one sentence of 11 years and two of just eight. What they did was SO much worse than the Evans case and there is no proper differential built in.
THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH! Anything below 20 years should have been unthinkable - more still when you consider how early releases are currently operating.
