The UK Independence Party leader will use a major speech to sketch out his general election manifesto themes, promising an alternative to the “negativity” of the Westminster establishment.
And he will categorically rule out Ukip MPs joining a coalition with any other party or “propping up” any Government that does not promise a real EU referendum.
Mr Farage will set out the broad themes of the Ukip election campaign in a speech in Essex today. It will be the first in a series of speeches setting out the party’s policies.
He will say that Ukip can be a party of the “whole nation” in contrast to the “divisive” Tories, Lib Dems and Labour.
And he will tell his audience: “Ukip, unlike the rest, is a party that believes in Britain.”
He will say the country needs to rediscover belief in its citizens, its institutions and its future.
