'Get RID of the European Union!' Former MEP calls for 'FAILURE' Brussels to be DISMANTLED.

A FORMER MEP has branded the European Union a failure and called for the bureaucratic bloc to be overhauled.

 Vaclav Klaus, who was president of the Czech Republic from 2003-2013, has claimed that the only way to save flailing Brussels is to dismantle it. 

The 75-year-old dismissed the EU's integration process as a “failure”, admitting he was a self-confessed critic of it. 

A quarter of a century since the EU's creation, Mr Klaus said he was “not so happy with what’s been going on” with the current state of the bloc.

Contrasting from the “dark Soviet days” when he was a supporter of the European dream, the direction Brussels has taken was criticised by the politician.

Well, this restructuring cannot possibly happen. One of my Dad's heavily used expressions over decades was 'jobs for the boys' and this is a classic example. Too many snouts in the trough. Too many riding the gravy train. Too many feathering their own nests at the expense of ordinary people both in terms of cost and loss of democratic freedoms!
