CSW,

Hi All,
‘I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.’ Psalm 27: 14
Even in the extraordinary times we are experiencing at the moment, we can be confident.
I have no doubt that you are already feeling the impact of the pandemic on your everyday lives, and that concerns for your loved ones are at the forefront of your minds at this time.
With uncertainty and fear rising as we battle the unknowns of the coronavirus pandemic, we can be confident in the sovereignty, goodness and grace of God to carry us through these unprecedented times. Although we are not promised exemption from the trials and suffering of this world, we can ‘be strong, take heart and wait for the Lord’.
CSW's work continues in the midst of the crisis
Over the last week, like many organisations, we have moved our staff team to working from home. But we haven’t gone quiet - our work continues! In many ways it is even more vital at the moment: many religious minorities around the world have become even more vulnerable during the COVID-19 pandemic.
CSW’s advocacy team continues to work tirelessly to raise the needs of vulnerable people and communities, who are already facing injustice because of their religious beliefs, but whose situations have become even more precarious. People like Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani, who’s serving a ten-year sentence in Iran. Our sources have raised concerns that appropriate measures aren’t being taken to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Iran’s prisons.  Please pray for Pastor Yousef and his family at this time.
Your support is needed now more than ever

During these unprecedented times, we ask that you continue to stand with those facing injustice because of their faith; through campaigning, through your giving and through your prayers. Your support in these ways is needed now more than ever.

We’ll be keeping you updated at csw.org.uk/coronavirus with regular updates and prayer needs from the countries on which we work, as well as ways you can take action and make a special gift to support those suffering for their faith. To receive prayer updates in these fast-changing times, sign up for our weekly prayer email.
We are so grateful for all you do to support those who face injustice because of their religious beliefs. Through your partnership, God is doing more than we could ask or imagine, and we are so very thankful for you.
I pray God’s peace and protection over you and your loved ones at this time, and may the God of all hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him.
Yours as ever in Christ,
Mervyn Thomas CMG
Founder and Chief Executive
P.Ss. If you need to get in touch with the CSW team, you can still do so by calling 020 8329 0010 or emailing admin@csw.org.uk. While we can still process cheques and postal donations including cheques, online giving is far easier for us to handle in the current circumstances. You can find all you need to do this at csw.org.uk/give.
