I am seventy-three years old.
For sixty or so of those years, I had never really encountered aggressive atheism. Okay, on occasion, you would meet someone who might be a bit mardy (Lincolnshireism) about my faith.
This, however, has increased bit by bit across the whole of my lifetime.
We have now hit a period when a great many atheists - largely led by the appalling Professor Dawkins - are seriously and dangerously venomous towards Christians, God and the Bible.

On the right and centre of the political spectrum, a huge proportion are atheist but they do demonstrate a tolerance which is anathema to the hard left.
We are now run by the most left-wing government in history aided and abetted by countless Lib Dems, Greens and SNP.
I find it astonishing that so many Christians can vote for such people having power over our nation. It will come back to bite all believers.
It is not helped when so many churches cannot even pretend to be Bible-followers any more. Blogger.
