The former killed in a car crash - the latter presumed dead after a terrible boating accident. Two great friends perish in different parts of the world within hours of each other. (Hmm. Coincidences always trouble me.)
I truly lament their passing and my prayers go out to their families and friends.
Two of the world's wealthiest men.
Yet they have to undergo the Judgement of God where their wealth has no purchasing power whatsoever.
The only thing in eternity to matter is whether or not they had been redeemed by the blood of The Saviour.
Mark. 8 Verses 36 to 37:-[36] For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? [37] Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
I pray with all my heart that both knew Jesus, for if they did not, the tragedy is enhanced a millionfold.
