Algeria: Open Doors.

Your voice can make a difference!

The Algerian Ambassador has just agreed to meet with the Open Doors Advocacy team this coming Wednesday – 14 March. We will be joined by Naomi Long MP – host of the Parliamentary briefing on Algeria last October and sponsor of the EDM on Algeria, which a staggering 99 MPs have now signed!
This is thanks to the thousands of emails that our church family have sent to the Algerian Ambassador. Join with these campaigners and email the Algerian Ambassador today »
We will thank the Ambassador for the progress that Algeria has made – Algeria is the only country from the Arab world to officially recognise the existence of a local church made up of people who were born into Muslim families.
But we will also encourage his government to do more:
  • Asking for the removal of Ordinance 06-03 which discriminates against Christians and other non-Muslim groups.
  • Also asking that justice be granted to Karim Siaghi. This young father is still waiting for a judgement on his appeal against a sentence of 5 years in prison and a £1,700 fine, for merely handing his neighbour a DVD about Jesus.

Your voice raised in prayer makes a difference too!

Please praise God for the meeting with the Algerian Ambassador.
Pray too that it will be fruitful.
Pray that the unjust Ordinance 06-03 will be rescinded. And pray that Karim Siaghi will be granted justice.
Stand alongside Karim, his family, and others like him.  Make your voice heard by emailing the Algerian Ambassador now »
We’ll let you know how we get on as soon as we can!
Thank you for faithfully standing alongside the persecuted church in Algeria in prayer and action,
Zoe B Advocacy.
