On Saturday the terrorist group Boko Haram sent messages to Christians in
hideouts in the hills of Gwoza local government area in Borno state, telling
them that non-Muslims in the hills would be killed.
Many Christians tried to escape to Cameroon in the night but were
stopped. Our partner reports that Boko Haram later attacked the area and killed
many of those remaining in the hills.
