Cameron Alienated His Voting Base.

Poll warns Tories that same-sex ‘marriage’ will cost votes next May

A BBC Sunday Politics poll recently reported the damaging pre-election finding that a large majority of Tory councillors believe David Cameron was wrong to legalise same-sex ‘marriage’.

The ComRes poll confirmed the results of last year’s survey commissioned by the Coalition for Marriage which predicted correctly that the Conservatives would lose hundreds of council seats as a result of the Prime Minister’s determination to force the legislation through. The May local elections resulted in a loss for 300 seats for the Conservatives.
