So it has emerged that Gordon Brown had been warned of precisely what the outcome would be if he robbed pension schemes and so did it anyway. The only question is whether this odious man has ruined the retirements of just hundreds of thousands of honest, working folk or whether the figure will ultimately be in millions. For many months now, the government has been trying to avoid the Freedom of Information Act and hide these facts but the cat is now out of the bag.
