Comprehensives Are For The Middle Classes.

If you are distinctly middle class and think that you should not have to pay for the education of your children - this is your trick.
Buy an expensive house in the catchment area of the best comprehensive in your town - or county, even.
This way, you can beat the system. If your child is idle and not awfully bright he/she may still progress whereas the intelligent, hardworking child from a sink estate must be condemned to the local sink school!
Good, innit? So very much fairer than a grammar school system based on merit, dontcherthink?
