Why we should scrap 1p and 2p coins.
The debate on whether to scrap 1p and 2p coins has been reignited by the sale of 99p Stores to Poundland. Nicole Blackmore sets out why she supports the end of coppers. Telegraph.
Inevitably - prices would rise. It would only be one or two per cent - but WHO needs that? The only argument against this is that there would just possibly be more items for sale at 95 pence.
