Le Front National.

As wholly non-rightist, this Blog applauds the Marine Le Pen faction in the French Front National which has expelled her fascist father, Jean-Marie Le Pen, because of his extreme and repugnant views. This Blog has charted the movement of this formerly, most unsavoury party as it has moved inexorably away from racism and into respectable politics. Today, it can perhaps be seen as no more than a pragmatic, right of centre party which has almost made it to the mainstream. In this it is like the Alianza Popular of Spanish politics during the 80s.
