Inigo Jones and Long Range Weather Forecasting in Oz.

A Reader shares: “Recently a friend of one of my sons-in-law pulled up the floor coverings in their kitchen to renew it. Under the coverings they found a newspaper dated 1946, containing an article by long range Aussie weather forecaster Inigo Jones, who I believe died in the 1950’s, forecasting a severe drought in 2019-2020 and that it would break in November (not sure which November). I decided to look on the Internet to see what I could find. On googling Inigo Jones I found an article where he did predict this drought, but so far have not found his prediction of its end. He seemed to be working on a 60 year cycle, as the two worst droughts were 1901-02, 1959-60 and now another 60 years on 2019-20.”

ED.COM. Inigo Jones is certainly the only long term Aussie weather forecaster whose accuracy score exceeds all others for south east Queensland. He was the Bible reader in his local church and was convinced that since God was a God of law and order, if we could find the rules by which God ran the weather we could make better forecasts. He was convinced that the cycles we have seen since Aussie settlement are best explained by the behaviour of the solar system on a huge scale, particularly the influence of Jupiter, Neptune and Saturn on the Sun and earth. His last major success that hit the news, was his prediction that a regional drought in SE Qld would end in 2008 with massive rain in February 2008, and as I watched my backyard fill with water and saw Inigo’s name reluctantly ‘credited’ on the Telly, my thought even then, was that he wouldn’t have had a bar of the current Climate Change nonsense. Creation Research.
