Rampant New Zealand Close In On Massive Victory Tomorrow.

615 for 9 in New Zealand's first innings tells its own story, so now England face the prospect of a humiliating innings defeat. They will be desperately hoping to overturn the deficit of 262 just to make NZ bat again.
Four days ago, it seemed wise for Joe Root to opt to bat after winning the toss but Day One saw a pretty dull pitch and it was at its batting best in the second innings - and didn't the Kiwis take advantage!
The English bowling was mediocre as Watling helped himself to a double century and Santner went on to make 126.
Archer, Curran and Leach all went for a hundred plus - but well done to Sam for his three wickets.
Archer was largely ineffective and again, did not show his legendary pace. Broad too was ineffective and Stokes probably bowled better than he did.
2 -153 at three and a quarter an over from Leach was expensive but, in fairness, the pitch did not start to spin seriously until the end of Day Four when Santner rid England of their openers as well as Jack Leach, the nightwatchman, who absurdly failed to review when victim of a terrible umpiring decision. Three unnecessary wickets to lose in the final session of the day.
Burns got himself out but let me declare it now, Sibley is not good enough to open for England. After all of the hype about the new-batsman-on-the-block he did a good impersonation of a rabbit in the headlights to the bowling of de Grandhomme in the first innings and the same applied to spinner Santner in the second. His defence was poor and his demise inevitable in both cases. His deficiencies are many and obvious. England must now move on and ensure that they do not carry a passenger at the top of the order as they did with Jason Roy in the Aussie series last summer who, insanely, was permitted four tests in which to compound his failures.
To draw, England will have to use their remaining seven wickets to bat out the fifth day. I do not see that happening as the Black Caps have so many runs AND an innings in hand that they can constantly use attacking fields.
Surely, England will not be able to hold out! I hope I am wrong but ...

Danger Alert.

The broken immigration system is now becoming dangerous. The Home Office already has some serious questions to answer – as does the Ministry...
