Left in Panic Mode.

'A dark day for Germany is a dark day for Europe': European liberals react to German state elections.

Valérie Hayer, a French politician who serves as president of the liberal Renew Europe, has said that “a dark day for Germany is a dark day for Europe. The election result in Thuringia and Saxony is unprecedented.”

“We shall not let Europe give in to racist, antisemitic, misogynist and homophobic movements,” she said. Guardian.

Blogger: the left are currently in full 'pretend mode'. Only the very simplest of souls who vote Labour coz they do - don't know what is actually going on.
The intellectual left knows full well that the Tory Party are, for the most part,  just inconsequential, gutless Lib Dems and no longer Tories.
They also know that Tice, Farage, Ben Habib et al are a long way from being right-wingers - indeed as super democrats, they would only just fit into the right of the left-wing Tory Party of recent decades. Of course, Super Democrats are labelled 'populist'. (This is a word used to describe all those who want to see the will of the people prevail. Awful that, innit!?)
But the left truly fears them and feels an urgent - indeed, desperate need, to portray them as something they are clearly not. To refer to such people as 'fascists' - as they so often do - is absurd to anyone in possession of a single brain cell.
Even the Fratelli d'Italia, a recognisably rightist party is not easily described as hard right. Moreover, even Alt Fur Deutschland, at least one notch beyond the Italians, is a party far removed from being 'fascist'.
Where are the marches, the goosestepping, the uniforms, the true hatred? Whither the sinister and burning torches? Where are the houses and shops of migrants being burned down? Where is the desire to remove democracy? Jackboots? Aggression? - (Indeed, Starmer's crew looks rather more likely to remove the democracy the UK has come to expect.)
The con was revealed in the 'recent riots'. Labour used Orwellian bogeyman tactics to portray everyone in these marches as rightists, which clearly, most were not.
The 'hard right' were there - of course. They probably started every demo. They caused a proportion of the trouble - but young louts, social dregs, violent people, thieves, looters, and would-be arsonists made up the rest of the bad guys. The fact that Labour pretended that this was not the case gives grounds for great worry.
Many present just wanted to protest peacefully against rampant immigration. A third? A fifth? A half - we have no means of knowing!

Ah. Now. There's the rub! If you dare to oppose this awfully overcrowded UK becoming even more crowded - the left brand you as HARD RIGHT. Total bull! - But it has worked. We inhabit a nation whose political naivety can oft times fill me to the brim with terror.
Think how many believe that the left's intentions are genuine and socially-minded. Good grief! Has any UK government ever made such a dismal start to being in office? - Check back.

This Blogger's fear is that the left will help create a real hard right movement which millions might join. One of the disasters of that is Reform UK would not win the 2029 election - either in its own right or in a combination with them leading the Tory Party by the nose.
