The Bible Should Be Taught In All State Schools!

It is time for a major campaign to be launched for essential Bible stories and teachings to be presented throughout the nation's schools as part of an underpinning to the curriculum which should be called cultural awareness. This should be 'stand alone' and not seen as a vehicle for everybody and their cat to demand that their Jonny-come-lately culture must be included. For once, I am not making this call from a Christian point of view but rather a cultural one.
How can anybody who is supposed to be educated possibly study art, literature, history et al without a sound knowledge of Scripture and beliefs? In a perfect world, this would naturally be held as separate to teaching of Religious Studies
