Thanking God For Number One Son's Survival.

I have spent a large chunk of the night thanking God for looking after my eldest son, yesterday.
He was driving at a steady 70mph in the middle lane of the motorway, no problems anywhere when, out of the blue, a lunatic cut him up and forced him to swerve to avoid a nasty collision. The swerve caused the car to fishtail and smash its rear side into the safety barrier of the central reservation.
The crash actually caused the car to right itself.
I pray daily for both my sons who, between them, drive in excess of a 150,000 miles a year.
Tell me that he would have survived anyway - and you may be right. But I shall thank God for the protection he has afforded our family.
Sometimes, we do not necessarily know how 'successful' our prayers have been. Just thank God, all the same!
