It was inevitable that the right-thinking British public would turn against uncontrolled abortion once they began to grasp what it really meant and a new poll indicates that some 70% of women want the abortion time limit reduced to 13 weeks - the EU average. Even more rightly want to see a 'cooling off' period added as well. Very laudable!Now that women are finally aware that a foetus is clearly and demonstrably a human being - and not just a collection of cells - the abhorrent 24 week limit MUST be abandoned.
I would settle for a 13 week limit, then use the left's own thin-end-of-the-wedge tactics in attempting to reduce it further to 10 weeks.
Beyond that we may never be able to go - but Christians must try!
