'On reading Dr William’s leader article, Jesus’ warning in the Sermon on the Mount came irresistibly to mind: ‘Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?’ (Matthew 7:3). In this case, the hypocrisy no doubt owes much more to denial rather than deliberate intention, but it is impossible not to note that the very failings for which he takes the Coalition to task are mirrored in the Anglican Communion. Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel.
