"Rates of admissions to accident and emergency for problem drinking and the number of patients seen by consultants for alcohol-related illnesses have both doubled in seven years.
The scale of the problem - and the burden it puts on the Health Service - will pile pressure on Gordon Brown to radically overhaul the controversial Licensing Act. "
'Labour knew best - again!" - Against a background of rising alcohol problems, they liberalised licensing laws, have reduced criminal penalties - usually through manipulation of judicial guidelines - and have allowed the lamentable numbers of police on the streets to fall even further.
Their only solution is to 'raise taxation levels' on alcohol. They never target the guilty but simply use tactics which will hit everybody.
And look what a mess they made with their silly, liberal, cannabis legislation!

Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
