Steven Hawking.

Only judaeo-christianity, out of all religions states that TIME had a beginning because if you were to open up the Holy books of the religions of the world, only one of them would describe God as a being that creates the universe, independent of time, space, matter and energy. The Bible mentions the creation of time on no less than 8 occasions.
The other Holy books describe God/s as creating within time. The Bible states that God creates independent of time; a major difference.
Interesting then that even Steven Hawking boasted as to having proved that 'time had a beginning' - which gives Christianity a bit of a head start, there. It may not exactly be a proof of anything to a non-believer but it is nice to be well ahead of the rest of the field!
