Two wins out of two and a game still left to play against Oz on Saturday, England have already qualified for the semi-finals of the ICC Trophy - and how!

The batsmen set a stiff target of 311 for the Kiwis whilst batting under difficult conditions after losing the toss and then being asked to bat first - but with Guptil, Taylor and Williamson in the NZ side - nothing was guaranteed.

Five separate bowling performances of genuine quality from the England attack and a huge win was easily achieved.

This was the best all round ODI performance I have seen from an England team in a very long time!
Whether England could reproduce a similar performance under better batting conditions remains to be seen.
