Charles Murray.

Surely a candidate for public humiliation!

It’s in the Genes: Bruce Charlton from Newcastle University has stirred a hornets’ nest by his assertion that the dominance at elite universities by the middle class, far from demonstrating bias, merely reflects the fact that “Higher social classes have a significantly higher average IQ than lower social classes … the observed pattern is a natural outcome of meritocracy.

Indeed anything other than very unequal outcomes would need to be a consequence of non-merit based selection methods”. He found in round numbers a difference of 30 IQ points between the highest and lowest occupational social classes.

The great American social scientist, Charles Murray, has made observations that in black communities in the USA, the intellectual standards are falling as a result of better educational opportunities.
It seems perverse, until you realise that the better educated blacks tend to leave these same communities thus reducing the quality of the gene pool.
It is inevitable that the same effect will be found in poorer areas, inner cities, slums etc in the UK - although colour is not an issue.
It seems that 'better education' can deprive poorer communities of their most talented; the people who could lift standards; be leaders and role models.

This is just a recognition of the realities.
