Pushing back the boundaries.

If there is one expression which gets my hackles rising and puts me into 'profound suspicion mode', it is 'pushing back the boundaries'.

It is a code used by that group of TV writers, producers and directors, film-makers, poets, pop groups, authors, computer games creators, dramatists, artists, journalists et al when they have pre-determined to offend sensibilities or flout convention.

It is of course, a leftwing device to undermine society and its institutions - whether these need undermining or not! [All very Trotskyist!]


These people, have prepared the ground in the post-war period to ensure that the cement which holds society together is thoroughly loosened.


They attack morality in all its forms and naturally, Christianity has been one of its long-term targets.


Just consider how successful they have been when you look at the moral ambiguity in our nation today and more specifically, look for the 'new morality' of the age which are found in the replacements: green issues, climate change and attacks on assorted -isms are the order of the day.


Pay lip service to these alone and - lo - you are a fully paid up, worthy citizen of our brave, sad, new world.
