Clause 9.

I am pretty sure that most of my readers will not have heard of Clause 9. As part and parcel of the House of Commons shambles which sold out our nation last Wednesday it was the one thing which might have rescued the politicians from their deep pit with a tiny amount of restored respect. They chose to reject it by 380 votes to a shamefully low 48.
For those who do not know, it was a declaration that our parliament would remain sovereign in the face of all the wicked underhandedness of the EU as demonstrated in the Lisbon Treaty.
380 thought parliament should NOT remain sovereign; 200+ could not be bothered to turn up and vote.
That combined total exceeds 90% of our representatives!

You may argue that this was the single most important vote ever taken at Westminster. The main political parties are bucketloads of sellout merchants and traitors - why mince words?
