Divisions increase.

Dr Jensen, the Archbishop of Sydney, will not attend the Lambeth Conference, although he and the Most Revd Peter Akinola, Primate of Nigeria, will be at the Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON) to be held in Jerusalem in the lead-up to the Lambeth Conference.
I am afraid that this symbolises the deep - and probably unhealable - divisions which now exist in the Anglican Communion.

The issue of how the Chuch deals with the issue of homosexuality remains the main point.

If all churches simply kept to the Gospel, they would be able to speak with a united voice.

To reject homosexual practice is not to reject the homosexual.

The principle is, as always, 'Hate the sin, love the sinner."
