Price rises.

A price comparison website shows how the government has consistently deceived us over inflation.
A typical 'food basket' has increased by 11% in the last year and staple foods have gone up - some by 30 times government inflation claims.
Inevitably, it is shoppers moving to 'own brands' which will have held that figure at the relatively low 11% - they have to save somewhere if butter, eggs, bread and milk all go through the roof.
Of course, the fact that certain luxury items such as 'jelly tellies' have come down in price as new technology always does, has been allowed to influence the heavily massaged inflation figures.
