EU propagandises young minds!

I was talking to the person who presented the anti-EU case on behalf of Civitas in a debate in a sixth form in Harrogate yesterday.
He was most concerned that these students - particularly, I suspect, the ones following courses in politics and economics - were so pro-EU, with very few voices departing from the common line.
A senior europhile was trotted out and was utterly destroyed in every argument he raised. Whether this debate has had a corrective effect on these brainwashed youngsters remains to be seen.
But how is it that the EU has been permitted to propagandise in this manner in schools? The expensive, glossy literature just pours in. [If any arrives in our school, factual matters will be passed to children and propaganda binned.] Congratulations to this sixth form at least, for allowing the opposite side of the argument to be heard. [After the 'anti' success, will there be an invite again next year, I wonder?]
It is little surprise that so many young minds will not be able to cope with the relentless onslaught.
I suspect that taking an anti-EU line in 'A' Level examination answers would be extreme folly today.
This is all so deeply sinister.
